Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information SafInvoice collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. SafInvoice is designed to collect the minimum data needed to create, store and send your invoices.
Information we collect
Account information. If you sign in, we receive basic profile details from your sign-in provider (such as your name, email address and profile picture).
Content you enter. This includes your business profile (name, address, phone, email, tax ID and logo), customers, products or services, and the invoices you create.
Payment information. If you upgrade to Pro, we store the payment method, amount and payment proof you submit for verification. We do not process card payments directly.
Usage information. Basic technical data needed to operate the service, such as your selected language and currency preferences stored in your browser.
How we use information
To provide the service: creating, saving, editing, downloading and sending your invoices.
To keep your data in sync across devices when you are signed in.
To verify Pro subscription payments and activate paid features.
To maintain security, prevent abuse and troubleshoot problems.
Invoice and customer data
The invoices, customer details and items you enter belong to you. We store them so you can reopen, edit and download them later.
Customer information you enter (such as names, phone numbers and addresses) is used only to fill in your invoices. We do not use your customers' details for marketing, and we do not sell any data to third parties.
Data security
Your data is stored in a hosted database protected by encryption in transit and row-level access controls, so each signed-in user can only access their own records.
Payment proof files are stored privately and are only accessible for verification purposes. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
Cookies
SafInvoice uses essential cookies and browser storage only — for example to keep you signed in and remember your language and currency preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy for details.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate SafInvoice, including authentication (sign in with Google), cloud hosting and database infrastructure. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their service to us.
When you use the WhatsApp share button, you are redirected to WhatsApp, which is governed by its own privacy policy.
Data retention
We keep your account data, invoices, customers and products for as long as your account is active so the service remains useful to you. Payment verification records are retained as needed for accounting and audit purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
Your rights
You can access and correct most of your data directly in the app — your business profile, customers, products and invoices are all editable.
You may request a copy of your data or ask for your account and associated data to be deleted. Deleting your account removes your stored invoices, customers, products and business profile.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
