What is SafInvoice?
SafInvoice is a free online invoice generator. You can create a professional invoice, download it as a PDF and send it to your customer on WhatsApp — no sign-up required.
Do I need an account?
No. Guests can create and download invoices right away. Signing in with Google saves your invoices, customers, products and business profile so you can reopen and edit them later.
Creating an invoice
How do I create an invoice?
Open the invoice generator, fill in your business details, add a customer, type items in the smart item field with quantity and price, then save. Totals are calculated automatically.
Do I need to create products first?
No. Type any item name directly. If it matches a saved product, the name and price auto-fill; otherwise you can use the text as-is or save it as a product with one click.
Editing an invoice
Can I edit an invoice after saving?
Yes. Open the saved invoice and choose Edit Invoice. The invoice number and history are preserved, totals recalculate automatically, and no duplicate is created.
Downloading PDF
How do I download an invoice as a PDF?
Open the invoice and click Download. SafInvoice generates an A5 portrait PDF that matches the on-screen preview and print output exactly.
What paper size is used?
A5 portrait (148 × 210 mm), one invoice per sheet. Long invoices continue on additional A5 pages instead of being scaled down.
Sending an invoice
How do I send an invoice to a customer?
Send the PDF you downloaded through your usual email or chat app, or use the built-in WhatsApp share button for a ready-written message.
WhatsApp sharing
How does WhatsApp sharing work?
Click Send WhatsApp and WhatsApp opens with a pre-filled message containing the invoice number, customer name, total amount and due date in your selected invoice language. It opens WhatsApp Web on desktop and the app on mobile.
Currency support
Which currencies are supported?
Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and US Dollar (USD), each formatted with the correct symbol and separators. Set the currency before entering prices.
Account and subscription
Is SafInvoice free?
Yes — creating, downloading and sending invoices is free and unlimited. The optional Pro plan adds reports with revenue, outstanding and overdue trends plus top customer and product rankings.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Open the pricing page, choose Pro, pay by bank transfer or QRIS and upload your payment proof. Once verified, your account is switched to Pro.
Troubleshooting
My logo is not showing on the invoice
Re-upload the logo in the invoice editor or in Settings and save it as your default logo. Signed-in users see their saved logo load automatically on new invoices.
My invoices did not save
Invoices are stored permanently only when you are signed in. Sign in with Google before saving so your invoices, customers and products persist across devices.
The PDF looks different from the preview
The PDF is rendered from the same A5 layout as the preview and print view. If something looks off, reload the page and download again to generate the latest version.
