Getting started
Is SafInvoice really free?
Yes. Creating, downloading and sending invoices is free and unlimited. The optional Pro plan adds monthly and yearly reports with revenue, customer and product analysis.
Do I need an account to create an invoice?
No. You can fill in an invoice and download it as a PDF without signing up. Signing in with Google saves your invoices, customers, products and business profile so you can reopen and edit them later on any device.
How long does it take to make an invoice?
Usually under a minute. Enter your business details once, add a customer, type your items in the smart item field, and the totals are calculated for you.
Creating invoices
Can I add my company logo?
Yes. Upload a logo on the invoice or save it as your default logo in Settings, and it will appear automatically on every new invoice.
Do I have to create products before invoicing?
No. Product management is optional. Type any item name directly; if it matches a saved product the name and price auto-fill, and you can save a new item as a product with one click.
Can I add discounts, tax and shipping?
Yes. Discount, tax and shipping rows are optional — if a value is zero or empty it is hidden from the printed invoice and the PDF, so the document stays clean.
Can I edit an invoice after saving it?
Yes. Open the invoice and choose Edit Invoice. The invoice number and history are kept, totals recalculate automatically, and no duplicate is created.
How are invoice statuses decided?
Status follows the money: Paid when the amount paid covers the total, Partial when part is paid, Sent when the invoice is issued but unpaid, Overdue when it is past the due date, and Draft for new invoices.
PDF and printing
How do I download an invoice as a PDF?
Open the invoice and click Download. SafInvoice generates an A5 portrait PDF that matches the on-screen preview and the printed page exactly.
What paper size do invoices use?
Invoices are laid out for A5 portrait (148 × 210 mm), one invoice per sheet. Long invoices continue on additional A5 pages rather than being scaled down.
How does sending an invoice via WhatsApp work?
Click Send WhatsApp and SafInvoice opens WhatsApp with a ready-written message containing the invoice number, customer name, total amount and due date in your selected invoice language. You can attach the PDF yourself if the customer needs the document.
Does it work on desktop?
Yes. The link opens WhatsApp Web on desktop and the WhatsApp app on mobile, with the message already filled in so you only need to press send.
Currencies and languages
Which currencies are supported?
Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and US Dollar (USD), each formatted with the correct symbol and separators.
Can I invoice in English and Indonesian?
Yes. The whole app and the invoice document are available in English and Bahasa Indonesia, and the WhatsApp message follows the invoice language you choose.
Pricing and account
What do I get with Pro?
Pro unlocks reports: revenue, outstanding, paid and overdue totals with daily and monthly trends, plus top customers and top products rankings. See the pricing page for current rates.
How do I pay for Pro?
Upgrade from the pricing page, pay by bank transfer or QRIS, and upload your payment proof. Once it is verified your account is switched to Pro.
Who can see my invoice data?
Your invoices, customers and products are private to your account. Support staff cannot read invoice line items, notes or customer details.
